The Challenge

A fire that began on the back patio of a Marlton home quickly developed into a much larger restoration loss. Although the fire department was able to prevent the structure from being completely destroyed, the volume of water required to extinguish the fire heavily saturated the home.

The resulting water damage caused the roof to collapse into the kitchen and affected surrounding walls, finishes, and adjacent rooms. Smoke, soot, moisture, and structural damage extended well beyond the original point of the fire, turning what began as an exterior fire into a comprehensive fire and water restoration project.

 

Our Approach

The Rebuild With Kent Team was brought in to help the homeowners restore the property from the structure outward. After evaluating the extent of the damage, our team developed a coordinated restoration plan that addressed both the visible destruction and the conditions hidden behind walls, ceilings, and finishes.

Damaged portions of the home were carefully removed, with affected areas taken down to the studs where necessary. The interior was thoroughly cleaned and treated using professional deodorizing methods to remove residual smoke and soot odors before reconstruction began.
